Bonded

Why Pink Rabbit Bonded Uses a Brush Applicator

There is a reason the Bond side of Bonded looks more like a tiny brush than a mascara wand.

We wanted you to be able to put the adhesive exactly where it needs to go, in the amount you actually need. Not paint your entire lash in glue and hope for the best.

Why a brush?

Because the bond belongs at the base.

A skinny mascara style wand can make it really easy to swipe adhesive through way more of your lashes than you meant to. With a brush, you can see exactly where the product is going and keep it focused where the lash segment is actually going to attach.

That gives you more control over the amount, the placement, and the finished look.

Where should Bonded go?

For Pink Rabbit’s Double Bond Method, apply a thin amount of Bonded right at the base of the segment.

The pre glued segment already has adhesive on it, so Bonded is the extra layer when you want more hold. You do not need to coat the whole lash from root to tip.

Why more glue is not better

This is one of those things that feels backwards until you do it.

More bond can mean more tackiness, more clumping, and a segment that wants to slide around while you are placing it. A thin, even layer at the base gives you control without making everything gummy.

What is the Double Bond Method?

Pink Rabbit pre glued lash segments are designed for about 2 to 5 days on their own.

When you want longer wear, add Bonded to the base before placing the segment. That is our Double Bond Method, and it is designed for 10+ days of wear.

You are not replacing the adhesive that is already on the lash. You are adding a second layer for more commitment.

How much should you use?

Think thin and intentional.

You want enough to coat the base evenly, but not so much that it is pooling or getting all over the lash fibers.

The brush is there so you can paint exactly where you need it. That is the whole point.

Why we think the brush is easier

You can actually see what you are doing.

Especially when you are still learning, it is much easier to control a little brush at the base of one segment than swipe a wand through a whole section of lashes.

Very “put it here,” very little guesswork. We like that.

Do you need Bonded every time?

No. If you only want the easiest application and a few days of wear, use the pre glued segments exactly as they come.

If you want longer wear, bring in Bonded.

Quick questions about Bonded

Why does Pink Rabbit use a brush instead of a mascara wand?

For control. The brush makes it easier to place a small amount of adhesive right at the base instead of coating more of the lash than you need.

Should I apply Bonded like mascara?

No. Keep it focused at the base where the segment will attach.

Does more Bonded make lashes last longer?

Not necessarily. Too much can create extra tackiness, clumping, or sliding. A controlled layer at the base is the goal.

Do Pink Rabbit lashes require Bonded?

No. They are designed for about 2 to 5 days on their own. Bonded is for longer wear when you want it.
