Lash Map
The blueprint for your lash set. It shows where different lash lengths or styles are placed along the eye to create a specific look
Our lash maps are created from inner to outer corner.
Inner Corner & Outer Corner
The inner corner is the part of your eye closest to your nose. On a lash map, you may see this labeled with an I
The outer corner is the part of your eye closer to your ear. On a lash map, you may see this labeled with an O
When applying lashes you can start it either corner. Understanding I & O will help you to read lash maps easily.
Pre-Bonded / Bond / Double Bond
This is how DIY lashes stay in place.
Bond = Glue : The adhesive used for DIY lash extensions. It helps lashes stick securely to your natural lashes.
Pre-Bonded = Pre-Glued : This means your lashes come with glue already applied on them. This is how our lashes come, it makes them extremely easy to apply *wink wink*
Double Bond = Long lasting lashes. Means you using bond* with pre-bonded lashes. Since the lashes already have glue on them, this adds a second layer of hold for long lasting wear.
* Bond is found as step one in Bonded. It works beautifully on its own, but it is formulated to work with the glue already applied to your lashes and it allows you to reuse your lash segments.
Sealer
Sealer is step two of Bonded It cures (hardens) and locks in the bond, helping remove stickiness after application
Because sealer hardens the bond, it should only be used in the base of your lash segments, applying it through the lashes can make them stiff or crunchy
Since sealer avoids stickiness, to prevent tweezers from sticking to your lashes, apply it to the inner side of your tweezers right before clamping
Clamp
Clamping helps secure your lashes. It refers to the action of pressing or squeezing lash segments and natural lashes together using tweezers or fingertips.
How to Apply
Simple steps for perfect application
Step 1: Pick up a segment
Use your tweezers to pick up a segment. Avoid touching the base as that's where the glue is located.
Step 2: Place It
With a scooping motion, place your segment underneath your natural lashes. Make sure the base of the segment makes contact with your natural lashes, as thats where the bond will occur. Use your finger to push the segment upwards to ensure contact with your natural lashes ** Pro Tip: Slightly overlap your segments for a flawless look.
Step 3: Press & Push Upwards
The pre-applied glue will adhere to your lashes as soon as contact is made. To make it easier press upwards using your finger and finalize pressing with your tweezers
